To eat an egg or not to, that is the question?

What do your plans for Easter look like?  Does your stomach already ache thinking of all the junk you will be consuming at work, or when your children’s eggs full of candy are still lying around the house?  Well, when I think of Easter I not only think of candy, but I also think of eggs.  Throughout the years I believe that eggs have had a bad rep, being known as just a fatty, unhealthy food that causes high cholesterol.  But could eggs help to keep your cost of Health Insurance down and help you go to the doctor less often?  We are a California Insurance company and California is known for its eggs.

Now days when it comes to my health I want most of all to live a long, happy life, while feeling great.  However we also need to think about our wallet when it comes to our health.  Of course eggs alone will not help us save money on our California health insurance, or prevent us from ever going to the doctor, yet living an overall healthy lifestyle will and contrary to what many may think, eggs are a very healthy choice.

While reading an article called “10 Health Benefits of Eggs,” I learned that many of the common clichés about eggs are actually false.  One example is cholesterol.  The article also stated that eating eggs may prevent muscular degeneration, blood clots, strokes, heart attacks and even breast cancer?  In addition “one egg contains 6 grams of high-quality protein and all 9 essential amino acids.  Eggs are one of the only foods that contain naturally occurring vitamin D.”  The article went on to say that due to the many minerals and vitamins eggs contain that they can help to "regulate the brain, nervous system and cardiovascular system."  For all of you ladies out there, and even men, who want great hair and nails, look no further, eggs are an excellent source of B12 and sulphur, which are great for hair and nail growth.

Eggs will not only help keep your body thinner and your wallet thicker, by helping you stay healthy and away from the doctor, but eggs themselves are very inexpensive.  In addition there are endless amounts of recipes one can make with eggs.  While reading the blog titled “Super Healthy Kids,”  I found some amazing meals anyone can make for themselves or their family.   You can’t go wrong with an egg-salad sandwich and did you ever think that it could actually be healthy?  All you need are 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped celery and olives, relish, Greek yogurt and some salt.  So, if you want to get a lower California Health Insurance quote, by being more health conscious, you might want to think about changing your diet to eggs.  Hears to a Happy Easter and healthy living.
