For the past couple months Professional Choice Insurance has assisted in raising funds for Stop Hunger Now, in order to help feed individuals and families who are suffering around the world, from war, famine, poverty and much more. The money that was raised, which was $24,465.00, was used to purchase food that we would then package on Saturday, April 25. With this money we were able to package over 85,000 meals in less than 4 hours!!!
The day of the event was truly touching and a lot of fun. The synergy from those around us all serving together will leave a lasting, heartfelt impression on all those in attendance. There was great music playing in the background, which of course inspired a few embarrassing dance moves from our CEO. Every 1 minute and a half we packaged 1,000 meals and a giant gong was rung, while the entire room cheered in unison. The event was hosted at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and over the course of the event 600 people participated, ranging from different religions, organizations, neighbors, families and friends.
